Make A Real Change in Someone’s Life
Did you know that of the more than 13% of Australians living in poverty, sole parent families have the highest poverty rates, at 35%?
And did you know that children in sole parent families are more than three times as likely to live in poverty as children in couple families? The numbers are shocking: just over 40% of children being raised by a single parent live below the poverty line.
This is the urgent need that we are inviting you to help alleviate.
Australian DIY Families Institute is a registered non-for-profit charity providing help with essentials, utilities, food, shelter and schooling needs to sole-parent families and members of the community in times of crisis.
When you partner with us, you play a crucial role in helping sole-parent families struggling with poverty, homelessness, financial hardship, domestic violence, living in an unsafe environment, or the inability to provide for their child’s or family’s needs.
